WAR of WORDS

 

Hebrews 4:12

King James Version

12 For the word of God is quick, 

and powerful, 

and sharper than any twoedged sword, 

piercing even to the dividing asunder 

of soul and spirit, 

and of the joints and marrow, 

and is a discerner of the thoughts 

and intents of the heart.

In case you haven't noticed, we've been at war.

For the longest time, since GOD created man.

GOD's WORD versus the world's word.

To our great peril.

And we get all confused.

Such is the world then.

Such is the world today.

Proof?

Here's proof:

Genesis 3:1-7

King James Version

3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast 

of the field which the Lord God had made. 

And he said unto the woman, 

Yea, hath God said, 

Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, 

We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree 

which is in the midst of the garden, 

God hath said, 

Ye shall not eat of it, 

neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, 

Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, 

then your eyes shall be opened, 

and ye shall be as gods, 

knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw 

that the tree was good for food, 

and that it was pleasant to the eyes, 

and a tree to be desired to make one wise, 

she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,

and gave also unto her husband with her; 

and he did eat.

7 And the eyes of them both were opened, 

and they knew that they were naked; 

and they sewed fig leaves together, 

and made themselves aprons.

Satan waged war on man that day.

And we lost.

Even as GOD commanded previously:

Genesis 2:15-17

King James Version

15 And the Lord God took the man, 

and put him into the garden of Eden 

to dress it and to keep it.

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, 

saying, 

Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, 

thou shalt not eat of it: 

for in the day that thou eatest thereof 

thou shalt surely die.

As you can see, Satan twisted GOD's command.

Confusing woman, and causing man to sin, too.

In our desire for personal glory and wisdom, Satan succeeded.

We all fell from GRACE that day.

Now, the enemy's gotten craftier.

He's gone digital.

He likes to "hook" people on trends.

Now, you can type a command, and he can create works.

Based on what he's been fed.

Based on what he's gathered.

Based on his personal agenda.

He's taking note of everything we're thinking, saying, and doing.

All fodder for his evil works.

The twisting of GOD's WORD will get worse.

All because Satan is desperate.

Revelation 12:12

King James Version

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, 

and ye that dwell in them. 

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! 

for the devil is come down unto you, 

having great wrath, 

because he knoweth that he hath 

but a short time.

So very desperate that as I prepared this blog, the lights went out.

A total blackout in my city.

My work stopped momentarily.

That's okay, I told myself.

Everything serves GOD's purpose.

We'll go back on.

When GOD deems right.

True enough, we're back early the following morning.

Satan couldn't stop that first post last night.

Now, more posts will be worked on.

We're on a roll.

The Bible has much to say.

SPIRIT can't be stopped.

He's the one who teaches me about Scripture.

He knows my heart.

He knows my goals here.

It's to give you GOD's WORD.

As is.

GOD's WORD is TRUTH.

John 17:17

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: 

thy word is truth.
